Sharing daily stories and posting feed content to stories has become a great way to boost reach and engagement. Many brands and influencers use this feature to drive attention and promote their latest posts. It also enables brands to use stories as a way to cross-promote their feed posts to their audience on stories.

Do you know how to share someone's post from Instagram Feed to your story? Here is a step by step guide which you can follow to share someone's post from feed to your Instagram story. But before you share someone's post from feed to your Instagram story remember, you can only share someone's post from Feed to your story if their account is public and they have allowed resharing of their posts.

Follow steps given below to share someone's post from Feed to your Instagram story

Step 1: First, open the Instagram app on your device and log in.
Step 2: After login, tap the arrow icon below the photo or video in Feed.
Step 3: Next, tap Add post to your story.
Step 4: After that, tap Send To.
Step 5: Now click Share next to Your Story and at last Done.

Keep in mind that when you share someone's post to your story, anyone who views it can see who originally posted it and can view the original account. In case if you have a public account and don't want to share your story with others, you can turn off the ability for others to re-share your posts.

Follow the below-given steps to turn off the ability for others to re-share your posts.

Step 1: Open your Instagram account.
Step 2: Next, go to your profile and tap Menu icon (three horizontal lines).
Step 3: After that tap Settings icon.
Step 4: Next tap Privacy and then Story.
Step 5: Here you need to toggle to turn off the ability (next to Allow Resharing to Stories)

I wanted to dedicate a post to a newish LinkedIn feature that enables the platform’s users to spotlight other members of their LinkedIn network by sharing someone’s profile with their LinkedIn connections. You can also share your own profile to your network.

You can share your profile with any of your 1st-degree connections and coworkers from the introduction card on your profile. This can help you to grow your network, or to increase your chance of finding and securing professional opportunities.

To share your profile:

Click the Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage.
Click View profile.
Click the More button in your introduction card.
Select Share Profile from the dropdown menu. You’ll be redirected to a new message window.
In the new message window, type a name or multiple names of the connection(s) you wish to share your profile with. Note: Your public profile URL will populate in the text box.
You can include a personalized message in the field provided, and/or attach media to send to the recipient(s).
Click Send.

You can also use the Share Profile feature to introduce any LinkedIn member to someone in your network who may benefit from knowing them.

To share a member’s profile:

Navigate to the profile of the member whose profile you’d like to share.
Click the More button on their introduction card.
Select Share Profile from the dropdown menu. You’ll be redirected to a new message window.
In the new message window, type a name or multiple names of the connection(s) with whom you want to share the profile.
Click send.
You can also share a profile from your home screen in the write a post dialogue box. You’ll see the option to share a post now on the bottom left hand side (see screenshot).

First of all, open Instagram and go to the account from where you wish to save the profile photo. ... .

Select Copy Profile URL..

Open your mobile browser..

Go to Instagram Downloads. ... .

Hit Search..

Tap and hold the profile picture to download..

Then, you'll see an action menu..

Tap below the Page's cover photo. Tap Share. Tap in the bottom right and select Friends. Write an optional update, then tap Post.

On Instagram, you can share user profiles, posts, and stories; they are never notified. The only way a user is notified of your activity is if you engage with their content or view their story.
