  1. Right-click on the folder you want to share and clickShare.
  2. Click on theSettingsicon.
  3. Make sure to tick Editors can change permissions and share.

When you move content from the Shared folder to your drive, the restrictions of the Shared folder will be lifted and a new set of permissions will befall upon it. Now, moving content is the easiest of them all. There are two ways by which you can move Shared folder to another drive with Permission in Google Drive.

  1. Right-click on the content from the Shared with me folder and select Make a copy. This way a copy of the content will be created in your main Drive.
  2. You can just drag the content from the Shared with me folder to theMy Drivefolder.

There is a long route that you can take if you want. Right-click on the content you want to move and selectDownload.Now, go to theMy Drivefolder, right-click on it and selectUpload fileorUpload folder(depending on the kind of content you have downloaded). Navigate to the content and upload it on your Drive.
