Okay, I made that up, but Google search data does tell us everything from what Halloween costumes are the most popular in our city to who our local representatives are, and every year, the search engine releases a list of its most frequently trending searched phrases. Weve taken a peek at the top things Americans were looking up in 2019, and its a real mix of high and low. People had political questions, obviously: What is quid pro quo? What is Brexit? Culturally speaking, Game of Thrones and Avengers: Endgame dominated, and Old Town Road had a monopoly on earworms. We lived, we laughed, we wondered about VSCO girls and OK, boomer.
