How to create a collaborative playlist on Spotify1 Open Spotify on your computer. The Spotify icon looks like three sound waves in a green circle.
2 Select the playlist you want to share on the left menu. The left sidebar lists all your saved playlists.
3 Click the three-dot icon next to the PLAY button. It's located next to the playlist's picture at the top. This will show your options on a drop-down menu.
4 Click Collaborative Playlist on the menu. It will immediately turn this playlist into a collaborative playlist.
5 Share your collaborative playlist with other users. Click the three-dot icon at the top of the playlist, and hover over Share on the menu to see your options.

How to make a Collaborative Spotify playlistYou can make a Collaborative playlist in both the mobile and desktop apps. You don't need a Premium subscription. 1. Open Spotify and start a new playlist, or open one you already have that you want to make Collaborative. Quick tip: You have to be the playlist's owner to make it Collaborative. Playlists that others made but you added to your library won't work. 2.
