By India Today Web Desk: Whatsapp is a very popular and widely-used social media messenger. It is installed by billions of people across the globe. After installing WhatsApp on your Android or iOS phone, you can exchange messages using an active internet connection.
You can configure whether tapping enter sends a message or not. By default, the Enter key on WhatsApp Messenger is programmed to add a new line between text. However, you can configure your "Enter" key to send messages in lieu of adding additional spaces. You need to disable that by unchecking that checkbox, and then enter the key will be work back again normal on your app.
The usual way to add a new paragraph on a standard keyboard is the enter key. In the settings area for WhatsApp, you can adjust the behavior for the return/enter key. Check below the steps that will likely resolve this for you.
Here is how to change the send button to enter on WhatsApp:
- Launch WhatsApp on your Andriod phone.
- Go to More options and tap on settings.
- Then tap on Chats.
- Turn Enter button for send on or off.
If you want to quickly be able to send your message, you can set the enter key as a button to send your message. From the settings area for WhatsApp, you can adjust the behavior for the return/enter key.
Note: Now you can send messages that disappear on WhatsApp by turning in disappearing messages on WhatsApp. Once enabled, new messages sent in the chat will disappear after seven days.
