Google Assistant not working on Android TV

Follow these steps to resolve this issue when the Voice function doesn't work even when the remote appears to be properly paired with your Android TV.

1. Turn off the Bluetooth® function of your TV.
   1. On your remote control, press the HOME button.
   2. Scroll down and select Settings.
   3. Under Network & Accessories category, select Bluetooth settings.
   4. Select Bluetooth.
   5. In the Disable Bluetooth function? screen, select OK.
2. Turn on the Bluetooth function.
   1. Press the HOME button.
   2. Scroll down and select Settings.
   3. Under Network & Accessories category, select Bluetooth settings.
   4. Select Bluetooth.

      The Bluetooth function is now turned on.

3. Unpair your remote control.
   1. Press the HOME button.
   2. Scroll down and select Settings.
   3. Under Network & Accessories category, select Bluetooth settings.
   4. Select SONY TV RC MIC 001.
   5. Select Unpair.
   6. Select OK.
4. Activate or pair your remote control to your TV.
   1. Press the HOME button.
   2. Scroll down and select Settings.
   3. Under Network & Accessories category, select Voice Remote Control.
   4. Select Activate
      
      button.
   5. In the Activate button for a new remote control? screen, select Yes.
   6. Follow the on-screen instructions.
      1. Press and hold down the VOL (-) button.
      2. Press the button for three seconds while holding down the VOL (-) button.

         You can release the buttons when the orange light above the Microphone button flashes.
