Can I see how many people have accessed my Google Drive?

See who has viewed your Google Doc, Sheet or Slide.

You've created a super slide deck and have shared it with your team for feedback before you present. Sharing a slide deck or any file is super easy in Google Drive, but did you know you can also see who has viewed the file you have shared?

There are two main caveats to seeing who has viewed your file; your file must be a Google Doc, Sheet or Slide, and the viewer needs to be signed in with a Google account.

Here is how you can check to see who has viewed your file.

  • Open your Google Doc, Sheet or Slide file.

  • In the top right, click the upwards moving arrow.

  • The window that appears will show you who and when they viewed your file.

  • You'll also get an option to email a reminder if someone has forgotten to view the file.
