Change default keyboard
Samsung keyboard
- From the Home screen, swipe up on an empty spot to open the Apps tray.
- Tap Settings > General management > Language and input > On-screen keyboard.
- Tap Default keyboard >Samsung Keyboard.
On-screen keyboard
- From the Home screen, swipe up on an empty spot to open the Apps tray.
- Tap Settings > General management > Language and input.
- Tap On-screen keyboard >Google voice typing.
Enter symbols & numbers
- From the alphabet keyboard, tap the !#1 key to enter symbols.
- Tap the 1/2 key for more symbols.
- Tap the ABC key to return to the alphabet keyboard.
- Tap the Smiley face to insert emoticons.
Text entry mode

- From the Home screen, swipe up on an empty spot to open the Apps tray.
- Tap Settings > General management > Language and input > On-screen keyboard.
- Tap Google voice typing to edit the following settings:
- Languages
- Spoken results
- Offline speech recognition
- Hide offensive words
- Voice Match
- Bluetooth audio recording
- Allow Bluetooth requests with device locked
- Allow wired headset requests with device locked
Turn on / off haptic (vibration) feedback
- From the Home screen, swipe up on an empty spot to open the Apps tray.
- Tap Settings > Sounds and vibration > System sound/vibration control.
- Tap Samsung Keyboardslider to turn on or off.
