Fill out forms automatically

You can let Chrome fill out forms automatically with saved info, like your addresses or payment info. When you enter info in a new form online, Chrome might ask you if youd like Chrome to save it.
Chrome never shares your info without your permission. Learn how Google Chrome saves and protects credit card information.

Add or change payment and address info you saved in Chrome

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click ProfilePayment methods or Addresses and more.
  3. Add, edit, or delete info:
    • Add: Next to "Payment methods" or "Addresses," click Add. This will save your info to Chrome on your device.
    • Edit: To the right of the card or address, click MoreEdit.
    • Delete: To the right of the card or address, click MoreRemove.

If you add, edit, or delete an address and youve turned on sync, your changes will show up on your other devices.

If your payment method is saved in Google Pay, you'll need to edit or delete it in Google Pay.

Nickname your payment method in Chrome

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click ProfilePayment methods.
  3. Next to "Payment methods,"click Add or Editnext to an existing card.
  4. At the bottom, click Card nickname.
  5. Enter a nickname for the card. The nicknameappears when you select a form where you use a saved payment method.

Tips:

  • If you rename a payment method, it appears when you select a form that uses a saved payment method.
  • Chrome's payment method nicknames don't transfer to Google Pay. If you saved your payment information on Google Pay, you must update it separately.

Save your payment information on Google Pay

When youre signed in to Chrome and you enter your payment method into an online form, Chrome may ask if you want to save your payment info in Google Pay. If you accept, your payment information is saved in Google Pay. If Google Pay doesnt support your payment method, Chrome may offer to save it locally on your device.

Payment methods saved in Google Pay show up as suggestions in most online forms.

Edit, or delete a credit card in Google Pay
  1. Go to pay.google.com.
  2. On the left, click Payment methods.
  3. Find the card you want to edit or delete.
    • Edit: Below the card, click Edit.
    • Delete: Below the card, click Remove.

Stop saving payment info to Google Pay

To stop syncing payment info to Google Pay:

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More Settings.
  3. Click You and GoogleSync and Google services.
  4. Under Sync, click Manage what you sync.
  5. Turn off Sync everything.
  6. Turn off Payment methodsand addresses using Google Pay.

If you're signed-in but sync isn'tenabled, Chrome may still offer to save your payment info to Google Pay.

When you sign in to your Google Account through a Google service, like Gmail, youll be automatically signed in to Chrome. If you dont want to ever sign in to Chrome, you can turn off Chrome sign-in.

Stop offering to save payment and contact info to Chrome

You can tell Chrome not to save your payment and contact info on your device and not to offer to save your info.

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top, under "People", click Payment methodsor Addresses and more .
    • To stop saving payment info, turn offSave and fill payment methods.
    • To stop saving addresses and contact info, turn ofSave and fill addresses.

Chrome doesn't suggest your saved info

If you don't get suggestions when you fill out a form, either:

  • The website might not be secure enough to get this info from Chrome.
  • If the website is secure, Chrome might not detect certain fields in the form.

Delete your saved Autofill form info

To delete your addresses, payment methods, and other saved info in Chrome at the same time, follow these steps:
  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More .
  3. Click More tools Clear browsing data.
  4. Choose a time range, like "Last hour" or "All time".
  5. Under "Advanced," chooseAutofill form data.
