Chrome for iOS 13. Is there a switch that I can add to URL to Open in Desktop Mode

As in the subject, I have set a Shortcut to open WhatsApp in Chrome but it defaults to the mobile mode.
There is no iPad app for WhatsApp but a work round is to open Web.Whatsapp.com in a browser.
First world problem I know, saves a click on the menu and scroll to desktop mode.
But there may be an answer.
Dont suggest I use some other browser seems to open in desktop mode in Safari.

I have half resolved my query.
There is a setting in chrome:\\flags to always open the web pages in desktop mode on the iPad.
So I get my way at the expense of mobile mode. But with a 10.2" screen that isnt a problem.
