Turn Desktop notifications on or off for Yahoo Mail
It's useful at times when you're waiting for an important email to have notifications on so that while Yahoo Mail is open in a browser (Chrome, Firefox, or Safari) tab, you'll see a pop-up every time you get a new email. Turn on notifications and browse worry-free on your PC without checking your email every 5 minutes.
Turn notifications on or off
- Click the Settings icon | click More Settings.
- Click Notifications.
- Toggle Desktop notificationson .
Turn off notifications by following the steps above and toggle Desktop notification off
Still not receiving notifications? - Check your browser settings to make sure that your browser isn't blocking notifications.
