Dosage:

As a preventative measure, use 1-2 drops in each eye 1-2 times per day. As for treatment, recommended dosage is two drops into the affected eye(s) two times per day. Hold liquid in closed eyes for 60 seconds for best absorption.

Application:

Lean your head back and look up. Put “one drop” into your eye(s), blink a couple of times then gently close the eye(s). Do not blink or reopen for 60 seconds. Repeat this procedure if a second drop is used. This allows each drop to be absorbed into the eye tissue. Lie down or use a tilt-back chair if you have a neck problem.

Side effects:

To date, no serious side effects or contraindications have been noted in any of the clinical trials in humans and canines. Also, Can-C is buffered to an optimal pH level so that there should not be a feeling of burning but rather, soothing relief. Of course as with all eye drops if any burning persists, immediately consult your eye care specialist and discontinue use of the product.

Does work in my dogs eyes!

I have been using this Repairian stuff for over a half year now to try and get rid of cataracts in my mini schnauzer's eyes, and all I can say about them is that it keeps them from progressing even more, and that would end in her being totally blind. I tried other similar products that "claimed" similar results or even claim that cataracts would be gone after a couple months. They didn't work at all. Repairan is supposed to have one of the highest amounts of N-Acetyl-Carnosine @ 4.2%, and that seems to be what is needed to keep chronic cases of cataracts from getting worse, or even get them to diminish or even disappear in some cases; but so far, in my case, it is my opinion that Repairan is the best on Ebay to do what it says. I can only point out that without using Repairan my dogs eyes would be way worse than they are, so I will continue its use and see what happens.Read full review

    Top critical review

Right now I see a little difference in the shrinking of the cataract.

I just started using a 3rd bottle of drops on my dog. It looks like the cloudy area has shrunk a little bit. He has lost some vision so I can't tell really alot at this time. My vet said he had some owners of pets saw an improvement & had shrunk the cataract so I am hopeful it will help my baby. You may keep contacting me as time goes by so I can keep you informed on his progress. I will start today & take a picture once a week to keep up with the progress & will be happy to share them with you. I only gave you 3 stars so far because I haven't been using Can-C that long but once I see more results I will change my Star review. Please continue to check with me for further results.

  • Very hard to use

I bought it only a few days ago so can't comment on its effectiveness. However, the vial is very poorly made. It is extremely stiff and requires a lot of pressure to squeeze out the drops and is hard to use by oneself. In my case, the strain of pressing makes my fingers tremble and the first drop always seems to fall outside the eye and I have to try again. It can also be grasped by hand and let its warmth push the drops out but it takes an eternity. I wish it had an ordinary dropper easy to use instead of having to squeeze the vial itself or the vial was made of some softer material. Also, although the instructions ask one not to blink after the drop, I have never been able to do so and it seems like a physical impossibility. Also the vial is opaque and I can't see how much fluid is left.Read full review

  • Good potential

In September 2015 a friend recommended CAN-C as a possible solution for my dog's dry eye/vision loss problem. The Vet prescribed medications were not doing much good. CAN-C almost totally eliminated the mucus buildup on the eye. Unfortunately, the pet's sight was already so diminished we are not hopeful that CAN-C will restore that. Wish we knew about CAN-C a couple of years ago.

  • I do NOT like eye surgery

Better than risky surgery on my RK- ed eyes. Because of the RK my corneas would fall apart like pie wedges. The alternative is to tunnel through the white of the eye ball locate the lens pocket cut into it remove the old lens install new sew up lens pocket then sew up the white all without disturbing the inner eye fluid pressure. NO Thanks. If all Can-C does is prevent further cloudyness it a win if it reverses it is a Victory.
