Why i wish i wasn't a teenager. A group, typically of teens, who exclude all who don't fit into their stereotypical image of perfection, and conform to all the rules of this "perfection". Often think they are showing outstanding originality and individuality, when they are in fact exactly the same. And this is the same for all subcultures. Usually hate "opposing" clique for no good reason other than they perceive/have been told that this is the right thing to do. Like to label people, so they don't have to regard each human as an individual.

Example

(Real-life example) MSN messenger name: "We hate the hairgel wearing majority". vampire_bunny: Hi Susie. I'm wearing hair-gel today. Sorry to cause spite. We hate the hair-gel wearing majority: Noooo, I don't mean U. I mean CHAVS. (click file click sign out of MSN messenger.) "You think dead and morbid things are funny, so you must be "goth"... but you wear bright colours... ow, my little head is melting into the soil..." "Aaaarrrrggghhh! You're wearing PINK! Leave and never lighten this clique again!" personwithbraincells: "Y'know, there's no reason for you guys to use the word gay as an insult... if you're straight and walk into a room you don't fancy everyone you see, same with gays. It's not wrong/twisted/perverted. So why do you have a problem with it?" Personwihlatestcellphone "He is showing open-mindeness and not conforming to the clique-held views. EXTERMINATE."

Groups of people (generally in middle and high school) that generally act and dress similar based on factors such as wealth, music, etc. Examples of this are: preps, goths, skaters, posers, and anyone who labels themselves. While in middle and high school, these groups have many people in them, but it starts to fade away in the late high school days, when people look back on themselves and say: "Wow, that was retarted."

Example

The cliques were soon abandoned after high school ended when people realized how retarted they were.

Arti kata cliques bahasa

can be groups or "packs" of people, most commonly high-school students, who are defined by the music they listen to, the clothes they wear, the hobbies they undertake etc. Think typical stereotypes such as emos, punks, goths, sluts, preps, geeks and the like. Each clique will often have a definitive style of clothing, music, hobby etc. Over time, the terms may become overused and this results in people having misconceptions about each of the said groups, or automatically classifying someone as a memeber of the group just because of what they choose to listen to, wear, or do.

Example

Cliques and their (over the top? negative?) labels: Emos cut themselves and cry over the littlest things. Punks are rebels. Goths wear black. Sluts f*** anything that moves. Preps wear collared shirts and knee-high white socks. Geeks sit in the library all day.

Arti kata cliques bahasa

a group of people who hang around each other because they belong to the same sterotypical group (ex- goths, emos, preps, nerds, skaters etc). they hate rival cliques, like preps hate emos and goths, nerds hate jocks and skaters and goths hate everyone. pretty much the stupidest thing in middle school and high school history.

Example

prep- oh my gawd i hate that emos clique emo- god i hate that prep clique and myself. goth- we hate everyone. jocks- crushthenerdsD
